One of my responsibilities is to personally meet with each council member during the year to review all the benefits the Order has to offer you and your family. Some of the topics we can review include:
- Review how to best plan for electing when to select social security benefits.
- Consider your options for lifetime income after your working years.
- Ensure your protections are in place to provide for your family and to protect your nest egg.
- Update your service record annually—life events happen, you want to ensure that your contact record is accurate to 2020, not from the date you joined the council.
It is certainly an extraordinary time we are living in—perspectives and life situations may have changed. You and your fraternal council brothers are stepping up to help local families during this time. You are part of an organization that responds to difficult situations immediately—not only here in MA, but across the country and the world.
